iMicroscope allows you to take photos through a microscope and produce professional quality calibrated images using your iPhone’s camera.
iMicroscope works with any iPhone. You simply position the camera above the microscope’s eyepiece where your eye would be and take a photograph. Calibration information is produced based on the magnification settings of the microscope. Please view the tutorial to the left for a full demonstration.
Our emphasis is on producing a useful tool for scientists and engineers who frequently use optical microscopes and want a simple method of measuring microscopic distances without loading external software, and recording their measurements for later retrieval.
You will need a microscope, and no -- a microscope is not included! Within five minutes of practice, most users can take videos as easily as shown in the tutorial.
